Haha..I'm here to blog about another funny incident....Though I'm like suffering over here, there are still some events which really made my day...!!
It happened on last Friday, a group of classmates recommended us to some restaurant for our lunch after renewing our Visa. So, Carmen, Pei Jun, Janice, Pamela and me shared two cabs and went to the restaurant named "Streets Cafe". (Wonder if I've remembered wrongly?) I must say my attire on that day really sucks, I wore slippers and dressed terribly. Indeed, I looked like an auntie, *frowned.... The best part was the restaurant was nicely decorated, luxurious and high-class. Be it the waitress, the people or even the chefs, they were well-dressed and I'm like so out of the picture. Gosh! At that time, I felt so embarrassed that I wanted to dig a hole in the underground and hide there. (I thought after renewing the Visa, we would go back straight to school, instead of having our lunch outside?!) Terrible Mistake I've made....
In the Streets Cafe, I'm like so touched cause there were so many sumptous food which I've been craving for ever since I'm here. From appetizers to course meals to deserts to many many more, even the drinks they have "coffee", "tea", "fruit juices", "smoothies", so many varieties!!Obviously, I'm drooling at that time..HAHA~!! My friends were like "OMG, got this, got that?" The best part was they served Singapore food too, "Singapore Satay"(there are also other Asian food). Still, the "Singapore Satay didn't satisfy me cause they tasted just like ordinary "Barbequed-chicken-cubes" and the sauce was like...don't know what!! I guessed overall, they tasted kinda delicious!! *Got its own unique taste*
Actually, the hilarious part of this trip was my friend, "Pammie". We were like looking through the menu and "report" what we want for our course meals. The next moment, I heard " So, you want "Silicon" Steak, right?"It was our dear Pammie's voice, asking Carmen that question. There was silence for a moment, then Carmen burst out, laughing. For your information, in our clinque, Carmen's English is the best. Actually, it was Pam who pronounced it wrongly, made all of us laugh like nobody's business. Instead of "Sirloin Steak", she pronounced it as "Silicon steak". Morever, She said out so naturally, like she didn't know she made a mistake. I guess she is really a cute and funny girl...
Actually, I got quite a number of stuff to blog about. Too bad! I've forgotten all about them, except this particular incident. Pam really never failed to make me laugh....Since, she made my day, I hope she made your day too?
